1ICT is announced as Domino’s Pizza Enterprises IT Business Partner of the Year.
On Thursday 10th March, the Brisbane based success story was awarded ahead of other finalists Telstra and Thought Works.
Domino’s CIO and current IT News CIO of the Year, Wayne McMahon describes 1ICT as his “Swiss Army Knife” supplier as they cover so many aspects in servicing his business including; 24 x 7 x 365 Helpdesk, infrastructure, procurement, back office software development, digital software development and a unique service of direct sourcing products from international suppliers that are difficult to secure locally.
Managing Director Anthony Gavin stated that it was the caliber of the team 1ICT have built that enables the strategic business solution provider to be a quality partner to all of their customers.
“We have been privileged to have worked with Domino’s over the last 4 years - it’s very exciting being a part of delivering the innovative ideas they are constantly producing to keep them at the forefront of innovation.
“1ICT work closely with Domino’s to understand their business needs and deliver the appropriate resources and products when required. We are very grateful to Don, Wayne and the rest of the Domino’s team for the opportunities and the trust they put in us to deliver their vision.”
Since its inception in 2013, 1ICT has grown significantly from 3 employees to more than 90, and on track to be well over 100 by the end of this financial year.
"We now have offices in Australia, Europe and Asia that have allowed us to service international clients as well as leverage a larger talent pool to provide our customers with the best skill set available and budget flexibility”, Mr Gavin said.
The 1ICT Brisbane office is located within Bulimba’s café, bar and retail precinct. Oxford St was deliberately selected as the office location as it offered a point of difference for the business and for staff’s lifestyle.
“Bulimba has great lifestyle options for the staff outside of work and is really conveniently located for commuting and servicing our customers.”
The model 1ICT built working with Domino’s has now been replicated to support a host of other customers. This model offers businesses piece of mind in dealing with a reliable and capable strategic partner that serves the customers interests and not their own.
1ICT currently works with an industry varied array of companies such as Navman Wireless, Goodstart Early Learning and Queensland Health.
